John is a regular presenter of awards ceremonies and corporate events.
He has presented awards at ceremonies for manufacturing, the information industry, town planning and “Winning Women”, as well as hosting the launch of a new series of plasma screen televisions.
In May 2005 he facilitated a two-day conference in Edinburgh for the Royal Bank of Scotland, which was attended by 500 delegates from RBS affiliates worldwide.
He is known for his public speaking, which encompasses his breadth of experience gained from a lifetime in television news, as well as his extensive knowledge of classical music.
